The Product

InCarEye’s solution is an AI-based system installed in your vehicle, analyzing the driver’s movements during the drive. Through a built-in sensor, the system can identify the type of distraction the driver is engaging with, and alert in real time.

Simple

Simplicity at its finest a single small component Installable in just one hour No driver involvement required No phone application necessary Compatible with all types of vehicles: cars, buses, trucks, and cabs Universal fit for all drivers without any adjustments needed

Smart

The system’s AI-sensor detects when the driver uses the cellphone and can differentiate between a phone and any other object, thus reducing “false” alerts and increasing reliable and real-time alerts. Furthermore, the system ‘studies’ the type of items held by the driver.

Safe

Instead of distracting the driver through on-phone alerts, or any other system, the driver receives an alert through an implemented buzzer (pre-installed into the car’s system). The technology then “teaches” the driver about his distraction patterns, leading to a reduced number of phone-related accidents.

How Does it Work?

01

The AI system is installed in the car’s system. It identifies, studies and analyzes the driver’s movements and patterns.

02

Once the AI-system detects that the driver has touched their cellphone for longer than a second, the system will alert the driver.

03

If the driver keeps touching their cellphone after the alert, in addition to the voice alert, the car will activate the car’s blinkers to alert other drivers, thus preventing a car accident.

Who is it for?

InCarEye’s solution is designed for the Tier 1 car manufacturer, OEM and aftermarket market. It was created for vehicle fleets, insurance companies and insurance tech, bus and trucks market and more. This system will easily interface with advanced telemetry systems such as "Ituran", "Pointer", "Questar" and others, so that it can also issue alerts to the car fleet manager, caring parents, and even insurance companies regarding the driver's behavior.
Thanks to its many capabilities in collecting data on the driver's behavior, it will contribute to vehicle fleets and OEM manufacturers for whom this type of information is essential. This development leads to a significant breakthrough, considering the fact that the systems exist today detect the use of a phone only about 6 seconds after touching the device. Some of these systems require installing a dedicated application, so this is definitely great news that can be applied to various uses later on.

The In-Cabin Technology Market

The Automobile Cabin

The automobile cabin has significantly transformed over the last few years and has become more human-centric in order to offer better safety, comfort, and ride experience. These new vehicle cabins with smart surfaces, multi-modal inputs, wireless connectivity, and a wide array of functionalities are referred to as smart cabins.

The Smart Vehicle Cabins

Smart vehicle cabins utilize an array of advanced sensors, interactive human machine interface (HMI), and specially engineered materials to better analyze the behavior of vehicle occupants, their requirements, and surroundings to adjust the dynamics of vehicle cabin such as temperature, speaker volume, radio station, and lighting. These multiple benefits of smart vehicle cabins along with increased safety is further fueling their demand.

Our Mission

A rise in the number of on-road vehicles has resulted in a high number of road traffic accidents, thus creating awareness about driver and passenger safety. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated that in 2017, 6.5 million road-traffic accident were reported across the U. S. Majority of these accidents are caused due to driver distraction, which in turn is fueling the requirement for efficient in-cabin monitoring systems such as vital signs monitoring, life presence detection, passenger classification. The European Union has mandated installation of in-cabin driver monitoring solutions in all cars sold across Europe from 2022. Thus, growing awareness about vehicle safety and regulatory transformations relevant to it are fueling the global smart vehicle cabin market.

Technology

A hi-tech startup, InCarEye provides a comprehensive and innovative technological solution to addressing driver distraction in order to reduce the volume of traffic accidents worldwide. Its unique technology, which combines built-in artificial intelligence (AI) systems with a video analytics sensor, scans the driver's body and processes advanced analytics relating to the driver's movements while the vehicle is in motion. In addition, this solution also helps teach drivers to shed the life-threatening habit of using a cell phone while on the road.
The company, which is privately owned and self-funded, is currently undertaking a recruitment round and it already has attracted the interest of strategic parties both in Israel and abroad.
InCarEye’s is an in-cabin monitoring technology applied to monitor and ‘see’ the driver’s actions. InCarEye specifically monitors the driver’s phone usage habits. Incorporating neurons, video analytics and AI, the system scans the driver’s body and can detect the exact moment in which the driver touches their cellphone.
Perfectly balancing the founders’ countless years of experience, and innovative AI technology, the system was designed not only to “study” the driver’s movements and identify patterns, but also to predict future instances, during which the driver might touch their cellphone. The system’s data collection creates a more precise and thorough understanding of the driver’s movements and habits on the road.
